The Movies of March

Okay, since February is almost over, here's looking forward to some of March's must-see (for me) movies. I've attached trailers for all the movies so go check 'em out. The Lorax implores you!

APoC #1

APoC stands for "attractive people of comicdom."  Recent studies have led me to believe something I'm sure most of you probably already knew: comics are made entirely by super sexy people.  That's not a subjective opinion, it's a fact.

Contrary to what some people may tell you

EPIC

Evoke a muse
if you like.
She's not there.
It's just you
and me, and
I love you.

A Day of Ambiguity

Ever have one of those days where nothing seems to be working out but you're completely okay with it?

For example, my meeting today with the webmaster concerning the site I'm working on (more on that in a later post) was cancelled. But it's okay, because I could use more time to compile content anyway. So I'm strolling down the street now, content with the extra free time, when all of a sudden...

Check It Out

Sci-ence is a web-comic recently discovered. Perhaps you've already seen it? I enjoyed reading it so much it became absolutely necessary to share, starting with its most recent entry. Warning: it may be addictive to the science-minded reader, as it can be simultaneously funny and illuminating. Enjoy!

A Week at the @$$IES

Every year AICN Comics hosts an annual "awards show" for sequential imagery.  This year that mystical consumer of all comics, Majin-Fu, aka me, participated in the nominations. It was a strange year for comic books, as you will soon see from this year's picks for the @$$IES. Yep, that's what they call them. Like an Oscar, but it smells like an old gym sock and it's more impressive on a resume. So without further ado, here's all four pages celebrating this year's best and brightest talent in the comics industry!

Day One
Day Two
Day Three
Day Four

The Ain't It Cool Comics crew are a funny group of not-so-gentle people and I enjoyed the comics discussion we all shared this year.  Axe-Cop for example, is one I enjoyed for a time in its online form, and then completely forgot about for awhile. I think it might be time to check back in. Habibi is another one I hope I get a chance to read soon as well.  What were your favorite books from 2011?
